Inhabited by more than 500 million people, which means the 3rd place in terms of population after China and India, the European Union is a significant political actor in the world.It influences international affairs in terms of trade, economy and finances. The EU creates one fourth of the global income… and is the first aid provider for Africa in world. These days, the EU is getting more and more involved in conflict resolutions and preventions, peace missions and in fighting against terrorism…The EU is working on a ideas for the effects of the climate change and their prevention…

Y Vote is taking an active stand on EU foreign policy!

Meet young people from all over Europe, share your ideas with them, and inspire yourself! Express your opinion on EU external policy, debate with other students, meet EU policy makers, take part in stimulating lectures!

In Poznań, one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, we are going to work in 5 streams – discussing the trade and economical relations of the EU, debating controversially on the part of the Lisbon Treaty on foreign policy, simulating possible EU enlargements , shaping a world strategy and arguing about Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Participation fee: € 60,- (+ 70% of travel costs covered by the support of the Youth in Action programme)
